Using iSync on Leopard with the N95

iSync: events to sync

iSync found 27 events and 149 contacs to sync

Apple came with a great solution to sync your contacts and appointments: iSync. Unforunately, it doesn’t work with the N95 out of the box. To use it, you need to install a special plugin. Problems? No way!

Here’s how to do it, in again, a few easy steps.

  1. Download the plugin from Nokia.
This used to be another site, but Nokia apparently changed their servers so now it’s relocated here. The site uses pop-ups, by the way.
  2. Install the plugin: this is only 156 kB and speaks for itself.
  3. Start iSync and select your device.
  4. Setup iSync: choose which Calendars and which Contacts to sync.
I couldn’t get it so sync more than a month ago, so that’s your maximum frequency.
  5. Hit Sync: the work gets done!

Screenshots from the result:
