Upgrading to 2.5
Tonight I upgraded Wordpress to 2.5 . I must say this is incredibly easy. The upgrade page walks you through completely. One warning: if you’re using this page as a walkthrough, one note is mentioned a little late :
Also take care to preserve the wp-config.php file in the root directory, as it contains your database sign-in information. Do note though that usually this will not be a problem since in a new installation the config file will be named wp-config-sample.php
The rest of the upgrade is a piece of cake, backing up took me longer than upgrading itself.
