Just after removing my FontCache, the Safari update of today required a restart. Guess what:

I went back to MacinTouch.com where CS Lipp wrote about FontFinagler. I downloaded the program and installed it, hoping for a miracle. I removed the cache, but Excel kept whining about corrupt fonts. Eventually, I cleared my cache and finally removed the FontCacheTool again. Bummer.
